Moses Close, Southway, Plymouth PL6 6JP
Tel: 01752 772102
Proprietor: M.C. Duff

This is a small converted barn on the North side of Plymouth city, near the airport, in a large housing estate where you would hardly expect to find a 300 year old building with a particularly friendly atmosphere.

The club specialises in live music entertainment and local (Devon & Cornwall) groups and artistes perform three nights a week.

Members play pool, darts and eucre; there is a good old jukebox if there is no live music. Visitors and new members are made to feel welcome. Except for pasties and filled rolls, not much food is available.

Open hours are

Monday to Friday

4 pm to 11 pm

Saturday

12 noon to 11 pm

Sunday

12 noon to 10.30 pm

Children under 14 should leave by 7 pm any evening.

Membership is very cheap, reducing to only 3 in the summer (half year).

Real Ales and the usual draught beers are served, backed up by a vast stock of bottles - obscure spirits, alcopops, beers and soft drinks.

Prices are kept below pub prices, thanks to the gaming machines.
